The return of Ealing's cinema!

Well nearly… Picturehouse Cinemas have driven the Incredible Moving Cinema to Ealing, for their first ever film screenings in London. Obviously Ealing with its rich film heritage (and glaring lack of an actual cinema) was a great choice of locations. Plus it’s the perfect introduction for Picturehouse before they (hopefully!) set up in Ealing permanently in a few years time…

This unique venue has been transported in an articulated lorry to Ealing Green (the green outside the main entrance to Walpole Park) and has now transformed in to an 100 seater, fully air conditioned movie theatre.

Films on the schedule feature a combination of recent releases, art house titles, family favourites and of course some Ealing classics. We’ve heard you can also enjoy a full dinner which will be delivered from local eateries including Firezza Pizza and Karaam Lebanese. Popcorn for pudding? Now you wouldn’t have got that in the old Flea Pit!

It’s only here until 27 September 2015 so get your tickets quick. It might be a few years before our own cinema arrives, so lets make this a sell-out and prove just how much us Ealing folk have a passion film and longing for a permanent cinema of our own.
