The award winning Ealing Half Marathon returns to the streets of our leafy suburb on Sunday 28th September.
We love the buzz this run creates along the 13.1 mile, traffic free circuit - speaking as runners and spectators. This hasn’t gone unnoticed, with the event winning the number one spot for atmosphere and listed in the top10 Half Marathons in the country by Runners World.
Starting in the picturesque Lammas Park, the run takes in the sights of Montpelier, Pitshanger, West Ealing, Hanwell and St Stephen’s, before returning to a grand finish in Lammas Park. If you weren’t familiar with Ealing’s hills already… you soon will be (but don’t let that put you off)!! They’ve made this handy map if you want to know the exact route.
The 2014 race can accommodate 6000 runners and there’s still time to snap up a space on the start line. Children also have a chance to join in the fun, with the Mini Mile open to aspiring runners aged between 6-16 years.
So whether you’re running for a medal, or cheering from the sidelines, get it in your diary and help keep this event top of the leader board.
