This versatile restaurant has breathed a new lease of life into a beautiful old Victorian stable block, setting the scene perfectly for a unique dining experience. The first point of difference is the invitation to treat Charlotte’s W5 not as a restaurant, but as a ’third place’ for enjoying coffee, a breakfast meeting, brunch, lunch, evening drinks or our personal favourite, a blow-out dinner. Creating an informal approach to how you make a visit.
The food menu features great quality, British food. With a menu guiding you through the day. Taking a relaxed approach to structured courses and instead offering small plates and snacks which can be mixed and matched in a tapas style of eating. This allows you to shape your own experience, whether you're having a quick working lunch accompanied by an "anytime" dessert or a big celebratory dinner.
Keeping sustainability, quality and amazing flavour at the core of this flexible eating experience has been a focus, working with trusted and small suppliers who have a passion for exceptional produce. A special mention must also go to the extensive bar book, treated with the same attention to detail as the food. At the heart of this drink selection is the Bartender’s Workshop, where head bartender Fredi is busily filling up the shelves with experimental concoctions.
You may have guessed we’re big fans of Charlotte's W5. With so many approaches you can take to a visit, we are already planning breakfast with the family, an essential work meeting over coffee and a pastry, al fresco lunch with friends, wine and cocktails for a treat and a posh date night to finish. We think this might catch on.
