It is our aim at Queen of the Suburbs to bring attention to the lesser known, local independents our borough has to offer. This one comes in the form of our new favourite cafe, Tiramisù.

Located on St Mary’s Road (opposite Santa Maria Pizzeria) this family run cafe always offers a warm welcome and a neat menu full of home-cooked food inspired by its owner’s Italian (and French) heritage. Try anything on the menu and you will taste a real passion for flavour and quality ingredients. Every dish has been given a simple twist and the menu is constantly evolving.
This is a place where ever-changing porridge flavours are drawing us back for breakfast on a weekly basis. The Sardinian breakfast is something new to try and their smashed avocado is also recommended. Or if you’re a traditionalist, you can’t go wrong with the Full English breakfast, where the slow-cooked tomato deserves a special mention for being so yummy (it’s not going to be left on an empty plate, hidden under your napkin).
There’s also a selection of hot and cold meals on the lunch menu which can be enjoyed with a hot, cold, or alcoholic beverage. On the counter there's a tempting selection of pastries and home-cooked bakes. Or if you're being indecisive, the benefit of the food being made on site (alongside Martine's hospitality) means you can tailor the menu to your taste-buds requirements. Last but definitely not least, the tiramisù! We are happy to report we have tried and tested it and can safely say it’s something which must be tried… again, and again.. and again…
